Abstract

Quantum metrology (and quantum parameter estimation) is one of the four main subfields of quantum information. In this talk, I'll give an introduction to these two topics, highlighting some of the basic ingredients and concepts, and demonstrating how they are different from the classical scenarios. Finally, we will go through some recent results in the field.​​​​​​​
