Conference Name Conference on Time in Biological Systems and Beyond
Content The purpose of this conference is to facilitate interactions, exchange, and collaboration of scholars across disciplinary boundaries. Since time is the essential condition for virtually all phenomena in the world, it will serve as the theme and common ground in this conference. There will be five sessions, each one explores one aspect of time with an emphasis – but not restricted to – on biological systems: Equilibrium and non-equilibrium, Oscillation, Progression, Time and Frequency, and Dependency. We have invited outstanding speakers from diverse academic fields, including experimental and computational biologists, physicists, chemists, computer scientists, mathematicians and economists. We also have the honor to invite Academician Wen-Hsiung Li, a world renown evolutionary geneticist from Academia Sinica and University of Chicago, to deliver a keynote speech. In addition, two panel discussions after the sessions of both days will provide opportunities for interacting with speakers.
