Category Softmatter/Biophys/Others
Event Duration 2020-02-03 - 2020-02-04
Conference Name Frontiers of Complex Systems Science: Soft Matter, Biophysics, and Statistical Physics
Content Taiwan Frontiers of Complex Systems Science Winter School is an annual forum for introducing cutting-edge research in complex systems to junior scientists. This year the Winter School will focus on current hot topics in the applications of non-equilibrium statistical physics. Specific foci will include: entropy and fluctuations in non-equilibrium systems, stochastic modelling of spatial structure in ecosystems, and bio-architectural principles of adaptation. Experts in these fields will present specific topics, and give tutorial lectures which provide a general introduction and fundamentals to facilitate discussions between participants. All participants will have the opportunity to present their work in posters and lightning talks.
