Conference Name | Taiwan-France Workshop on Drop Dynamics and its Applications |
Content | Drops are ubiquitous in nature, which can be encountered in dew, fog, rainbows, clouds, rains and ocean sprays. With continuously exploring physics behind the scenes in drop dynamics, a wide range of science and engineering applications can then be processed such as atmospheric science, agriculture, inkjet printing, spray/combustion and microfluidics. This workshop aims to encourage discussions and establish Taiwan-France collaborative networks in the field of drop dynamics and its applications. A keynote speech (by David Quéré from ESPCI, France), 12 invited talks from both France and Taiwan sides, together with a poster section have been arranged to promote the interactions between speakers and attendees. The topics includes from fundamental theories and high resolution numerical models, through state-of-the-art experimental visualizations to the applied research. All people who are interested in this focusing topic are warmly welcome to join this workshop. Poster submission is welcome. Please submit the title and author(s) of your poster presentation on the registration page. |
