Conference Name | The NCTS mini-workshop on topological quantum matters |
Content | Recently, there has been growing interest in symmetry protected topological quantum states in condensed matter systems, such as: topological insulators/superconductors, Majorana fermions, Dirac/Weyl semi-metals... New approaches are needed to understand these phenomena. The goal of this workshop is to enhance discussions collaborations on these topics among domestic and international participants as well as to introduce these topics to young physicists and students. Invited speakers: Dr. Brandon Anderson (U. Chicago) Prof. Baruch Rosenstein (National Chiao Tung Univ.) Prof. Shin-Ming Huang (NSYSU) Dr. Peng-Jen Chen (Academia Sinica) Local Organizers: Chung-Hou Chung (NCTU) Chien-Te Wu (NCTU) |
