Conference Name | Multiscale Feedback on Galaxy Evolution: From Stellar Explosions to Active Galactic Nuclei |
Content | The purpose of this workshop is to discuss the recent developments in multiscale feedback processes on galaxy evolution. Energetic feedback from supernovae, the synthesis of heavy elements, active galactic nuclei and cosmic rays are all fundamental questions for the bigger picture of galaxy formation and evolution theory. As we hope that new ideas, directions, and potential collaborations may be identified through the discussions during the workshop. We plan to have just roughly 7 main sessions within three days. Each session consists of an invited talk covering one specific topic for ~ 45 minutes, plus in addition, 45 minutes time for informal but in-depth discussions. Opportunities to contribute short talks and posters during the workshop are also available. Scientific Organizing Committee: Hsiang-Kuang Chang (NTHU) Ke-Jung Chen (ASIAA) Andrew Cooper (NTHU) Hiroyuki Hirashita (ASIAA) Albert Kong (NTHU) Kuo-Chuan Pan (NTHU) Hsi-Yu Schive (NTU) Meng-Ru Wu (ASIoP) Hsiang-Yi Yang (NTHU) |
