Title: Torsion type invariants of singularities
Abstract: Inspired by the LG/CY correspondence, we study the local index theory
of the SchrÖdinger operator associated to a singularity via the heat kernel
expansion. We show that the small heat kernel expansion of the corresponding
SchrÖdinger operator exists and is a series of fractional powers of time.
Furthermore, we can define the torsion type invariants of the singularity. This
is the joint work with Fang Hao and the related paper is on arXiv:1603.06530v1.

Title: Analytic theory of Gauged Linear Sigma Model
Abstract: GLSM was proposed by Witten to understand the mirror symmetry,
including the LG/CY correspondence conjecture. Recently, there are much work
on constructing the invariants theory both from algebraic geometry and from
analysis. In this talk, I will report the recent progress of the study of the
analytic properties of the gauged Witten equation. This is the joint work with
Tyler Jarvis and Yongbin Ruan.
