Content | tests. These are some of the main themes of a new interdisciplinary field called Relativistic Quantum Information (RQI). Foreseeing the great potential of its developments and RQI’s impact on theoretical and experimental fundamental physics, the International Society of Relativistic Quantum Information (ISRQI) was established at the first RQI-N (north) international conference held in Taiwan in 2010, at the National Dong Hwa University in Hualien. This conference series aims to bring together researchers across multidisciplinary areas, from quantum information science and technology, quantum optics, atomic-molecular physics, condensed matter physics to quantum field theory in curved spacetime and quantum gravity. The succeeding conferences took place at CSIC, Spain in 2011, Perimeter Institute, Canada in 2012, Nottingham University, UK in 2013, University of Seoul, Korea in 2014, Dartmouth College, USA in 2015, University of Waterloo, Canada in 2016, Kyoto University, Japan in 2017, and University of Vienna, Austria 2018. In celebration of ISRQI’s 10th anniversary this year’s RQI-N conference will be held May 27 – June 1 in its founding place, Taiwan, at the National Cheng-Kung University in Tainan. Four days of conference on frontier research topics (May 29 – June 1) will be preceded by two days of school (May 27 – May 28) on the basics, taught by leading researchers in this field. |
