| Content | We are organizing a Taiwan-Thailand 2017 Workshop on Theoretical and Computational Chemistry, at the Pan-Kuan Lecture Hall in the Department of Chemistry at the National Taiwan University, Taipei Taiwan on June 16, 2017. In this workshop, we intend to discuss the theoretical and computational studies being performed in Taiwan and Thailand. By detailed exchange of information between the primary investigators （PIs）, we hope that this type of interaction will lead to fruitful collaborations in the future. We have invited PIs with broad background performing theoretical studies on the following: biomedical applications, catalysis, gas phase dynamics, nanomaterials, and quantum chemistry program developments. To make the interaction more efficient, we will have the 6 Thailand PIs giving 30 minute talks while the local Taiwan researchers will give short 10 minute talks along with a poster. This poster session will allow for PIs with common interests to have a chance for deep interaction and discussion. We hope to take this opportunity to encourage interested theoretical researchers to participate in this workshop. |
