Conference Name | The NCTS mini-workshop on correlation, topology and non-equilibrium physics in quantum many-body systems |
Content | Recently, there has been growing interest in exotic and novel many-body quantum phenomena in condensed matter systems, such as: real-time dynamics and non-linear transport in non-equilibrium open quantum systems, symmetry-protected topological states (topological insulators, superconductors, semi-metals), un-conventional superconductivity either due to strong correlations or to non-trivial topology, and quantum criticality in heavy-fermion/mesoscopic systems. New approaches are needed to understand these phenomena. The goal of this workshop is to enhance discussions collaborations on these topics among domestic and international participants as well as to introduce these topics to young physicists and students. Invited speakers: Dr. Tal Goren (CNRS, Université Paris-Saclay, France) Prof. Stefan Kirchner (Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China) Prof. Wei-Feng Tsai (Sun-Ye-Sun University, Guangzhou,China) Dr. Shiue-Yuan Shiau (NUS, Singapore) Dr. Pei-Yun Yang (NCKU) Prof. Miguel Cazalilla (NTHU) to be confirmed Prof. Chung-Hou Chung (NCTU) Organizers: Chung-Hou Chung (NCTU) Wei-Feng Tsai (SYSU, China) Chung-Yu Mou (NTHU) |
