Abstract
A variety of building blocks and observables in quantum field theory exhibit surprisingly rich positivity properties. I will review some of my recent work on these structures, focusing on complete monotonicity and the Stieltjes property and their connections to moment problems and positive geometry. I will discuss how this positivity can be turned into practical tools for approximating and numerically evaluating these objects, with particular emphasis on Feynman integrals.
