A multifaceted Dark matter search program in Taiwan
Our group has been engaged in 3 separate Dark Matter search projects recently. The AMS experiment measures the positron and anti-proton spectra in the cosmic rays, to find signatures of Dark-matter annihilation in space. The haloscope experiment look for axion dark matter in the mass range of meV to micro-eV. The high field laser collision experiment searches for axion-like particles around 1eV mass. These experiments apply very different technologies and involve researchers from different disciplines in physics. I will present the basic concept and technology involved in each experiment, and report the status of their progresses.
[Lunchbox Registration]
