The gauged two Higgs doublet model represents a novel scenario with a rich scalar sector in need of exploration. In this talk we will discuss how theoretical and experimental constraints shrink the allowed parameter space of this scalar sector. In particular, we will require a stable vacuum, perturbative unitarity and a Higgs diphoton decay consistent with current LHC measurements. We will see the resulting constrained parameter space and delve further into some of the more relevant properties of the scalars.
