Abstract: We present our analysis on the valence quark distribution function of the pion, evaluating the dressing corrections from Goldstone boson involved diagrams in the framework of the chiral constituent quark model. In recent studies, it was found that the distribution in the large Bjorken x region may be softer compared to the results of previous analysis. We show that this behavior can be reproduced in our approach, and discuss how the dressing corrections modify the bare distribution.
