We investigate the entanglement entropy of a heavy quark medium with a large mass gap. The dual gravity of the heavy quark medium can be described by a string cloud geometry. In this model, due to the existence of two dimensionful parameters, density and mass gap of heavy quark, the entanglement entropy shows two different behaviors relying on the competition of those two parameters. We also show that the entanglement temperature behaves differently from the conformal case because of breaking of the conformal symmetry.
