We review the phase diagram for an SU(N) gauge theory in 2+1 dimensions with a set of fermions in the fundamental representation and its generalization where the number of fermions splits into two families. Then we extend the results to include three-families of fermions with different masses. The phase diagram is then three dimensional and contains cuboid, planar, and linear quantum regions, depending on the values of the sermonic masses. We check the results by considering the consistency with boson/fermion dualities and verify the reduction of the phase diagram to the one and two-family diagrams.
