Topological quasicrystals: theory and experiment

 Topological features of quasicrystals will be presented both from a structural (diffraction properties) and from a spectral (excitation spectrum) point of view. Despite the (formal) absence of Bloch theorem for quasicrystals, it will be shown that structural and spectral properties are related. Different experiments will be presented which exhibit these topological features.
