Almost the efforts in modifying gravity have been performed in the usual curvature-based framework. On the other hand, it is well known that one can equivalently describe gravity using torsion. We investigate the case where one modifies gravity based on its torsional-teleparallel formulation, and we study the corresponding cosmological applications.
