The quantum technologies have being evolving very rapidly in recent years.  The UK government has envisaged the vast opportunities behind the new wave and responded with the UK quantum technology programme. The programme has identified several key fields including sensors, computation and communication.  I will introduce the activities within the programme involving gravity sensing and the prospect to the different applications.
