Category Interdisciplinary Research
Event Duration 2026-09-02 - 2026-09-04
Conference Name 2026 NCTS Math-Physics workshop on Numerical Methods in Advanced Mathematical and Computational Physics Simulation
Content Introduction

This workshop brings together mathematics and physics to solve complex scientific challenges through modern numerical methods. It highlights advanced computational approaches—such as tensor networks and machine learning—and their applications across areas like differential equations, astrophysical fluid simulation, and dark matter. It also explores the connections between abstract mathematical structures and physical systems, including links between graph theory and quantum many-body physics. By uniting the perspectives of mathematicians and physicists, the workshop aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and inspire new research directions.
