Transportation Guide to NYCU (Guangfu Campus)

1. By High Speed Rail (HSR)

Take the Taiwan High Speed Rail to Hsinchu Station (新竹站). From there, transfer to the NYCU [Guangfu – Zhubei] Shuttle Bus (光復-竹北校車) for a direct ride to campus, free of charge.

2. By Train (TRA)

Take the TRA Western Trunk Line (西部幹線) to Hsinchu Station (新竹站). From there, transfer to a local city bus to reach the campus.

3. By City Bus

Route 2 (2路市區公車): Ride directly to the "NYCU Guangfu Campus (Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall) (交大光復校區中正紀念堂)" stop.
(Fare: Adult NT$15 / Concession NT$8)

Route 1 (1路市區公車): Alight at either the "National Tsing Hua University (NTHU)" stop (清華大學), or the "Guogou" stop (過溝站) and walk along Daxue Road (大學路) to reach campus.
(Fare: Adult NT$15 / Concession NT$8. )

Inter-campus Shuttle (NYCU ): You may take the complimentary NYCU [Guangfu – Zhubei] (光復竹北校車) Shuttle Bus from the Boai Campus (博愛校區) to the Guangfu Campus (光復校區), free of charge.

4. By Hsinchu Science Park Shuttle Bus

Take the Hsinchu Science Park Shuttle Bus (Red Line), which stops directly inside the NYCU campus.

5. By Car

(1) Zhongshan Highway (National Highway No. 1) — Southbound

Via 93.5 km (Exit 95A) – Hsinchu Interchange:
Exit towards Hsinchu → Turn right onto Daxue Road (beside the gas station) → Enter via the North Main Gate.

Via 94.6 km (Exit 95B) – Science Park Interchange:
Exit the interchange → Turn right onto Xin'an Road → Enter via the South Main Gate.

(2) Zhongshan Highway (National Highway No. 1) — Northbound

Via 96.4 km (Exit 95A) – Hsinchu Interchange:
Exit the interchange → Turn left onto Guangfu Road (towards downtown Hsinchu) → Pass under the highway bridge → Turn left onto Daxue Road (beside the gas station) → Enter via the North Main Gate.

Via (Exit 95B) – Science Park Interchange:
Exit the interchange → Turn left onto Yuanqu 2nd Road → Turn left again onto Xin'an Road → Enter via the South Main Gate.
