III. Research Themes:
Our research focuses on, but not limited to, the two broad themes:
(1) Quantum steering, non-locality, and device-independent quantum information
(2) Robust quantum control and non-Markovian processes characterization

IV. Activities:
- Regular Quantum Information Science seminars held at NCKU during semester time every second Monday from 1210 - 1400
- Annual Workshop on Quantum Science and Technology
- Annual Young Researchers Forum on Quantum Information Science

V. Expected achievements:
- A better understanding of genuinely quantum features and how they may be exploited to obtain a quantum advantage in various (information processing) tasks.
- Development of a systematic way to design the right control pulses for the robust implementation of quantum gates.
- A better characterization of non-Markovian processes
- A better understanding of how thermodynamics work in the quantum regime
